EMPLOYER SERVICES
Northwest Technical Center can help meet your education and training needs. We can offer training at NWTC or at your site. Our instructors are experts in their fields. The classes listed in this borchure are only partially representative of the possibilities available. Customized training and contracted vendor training can be arranged in a wide variety of fields. On-line and Interactive Television program options are also available.
Facilities
Northwest Technical Center can provide space for training needs. We have up to date classrooms, and networked computer labs able to accommodate 15. We offer fully equipped lab space for welding, automotive, building traces, culinary arts, cosmetology and office practices.
Northwest Technical Center will gladly provide training at your site. We have laptop computers available.
Additional training space is available at the Franklin Grand Isle Workforce Investment Board Training Center in Swanton for training and meetings during day, evening and weekend hours.
Northwest Technical Center Classrooms and labs are available from 2:45 PM to 10:00 PM on school days and from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM on weekends and school vacations. Special arrangement can be made for alterntive hours. The Northwst Technical Center is fully handicapped accessible.
Northwest Technical Center will work with the requirements of your company policy. We can provide invoices for purchase orders, credit card payments, billing upon completion, attendance and evaluation reports or other arrangements to meet your needs. We have experience working with a variety of tutition reimbusement plans.
In partnership with the Vermont Training Program, Department of Economic Development, we are able to offer up to a 50% discount to employees in sectors of Manufacturing, IT, Healthcare, and Environmental.
